Therapeutic Approach
Annelise is known for her calm, grounded presence and a therapeutic style that integrates warmth with structure. She creates a safe, reflective space where clients feel deeply understood and comfortable in their authentic selves. The felt sense of being emotionally met provides the safety needed for old patterns to soften, allowing new ways of relating to self and others to emerge.
Her work is emotionally attuned and guided by a strong clinical framework. Through thoughtful assessment and collaborative formulation, Annelise supports clients in making sense of their inner world, identifying unhelpful patterns, and taking intentional steps toward meaningful, lasting change.
Annelise values therapy that is warm, thoughtful, and clinically grounded. She believes that sustainable change happens when we feel safe in our bodies, seen in our stories, and supported by evidence-informed care.

Annelise offers highly personalised therapy to meet each client’s need and she draws on a strong foundation of evidence-based modalities, including:
Advanced Schema Therapy
Attachment-Based Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Beyond Clinical Work
In addition to her clinical practice, Annelise serves as an SRP-approved Clinical Supervisor, supporting early-career psychologists in developing their clinical skills, professional identity, and capacity for reflective practice.
She has held roles in the broader professional community, including as Publicity Chair of the Singapore Psychological Society, where she contributed to public education efforts aimed at fostering greater awareness and openness around mental health.
Annelise also served as an onsite psychologist at Clifford Chance, where she provided confidential psychological support for lawyers and staff, addressing both personal concerns and work-related challenges including perfectionism, burnout, and emotional fatigue. Her role contributed to the firm’s commitment to cultivating a psychologically safe, high-performing workplace, and offered strategic input on wellbeing practices at an organisational level.
She has taught undergraduate psychology modules at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and values the opportunity to nurture future professionals in the field — a role she finds deeply rewarding for its capacity to shape thoughtful, reflective clinicians.
